Summit Schedule

What is the exact schedule of the Summit, including individual sessions?

A detailed schedule of events will be available in the website along with your confirmation letter about a month before the local Summit.

Registration

How do I register online?

To register online, simply click on the Menu Bar “Register”.

In the GLS Registration page, fill in the form as indicated accordingly. Do read through the terms and conditions carefully. When you have completed your form, click on the “submit” button. If you have filled in your information wrongly, click on the “reset” button to clear all information you have previously filled in.

I can’t seem to register online, what’s wrong?

Try to refresh your webpage again, and fill in the application form and submit. If you still have any problems, please contact the administrator at +65 84183306.

Can I share a registration?

GLS does not provide the option to share registrations between two or more individuals.

I am only able to attend Day 1 of the Summit and not Day 2. However, the registration form does not allow me to select 1 of the 2 days to attend. What should I do?

We only allow you to register for both days Summit. We do strongly suggest that you pass your Day 2 name tag to another person, so as not to waste the money and the chance to hear from God.

It is important that the person you have passed the name tag to knows you by name, in case, he/she has lost the name tag, we can produce another coupon for him/her.

How do I know how close the Summit is to selling out?

To determine how many seats are available for an event, please contact the administrator at +65 84183306.

Groups

How do I register online for group registration?

To register as a group, you need to have 6 members in your group. In your group, appoint a group leader.

To register online, you simply indicate that you are registering as a group by checking the “Group of six” check box. Following that, indicate whether you are a “Group Leader” or a “Member of the Group”. If you are a member of the group, please fill in your group leader’s name as indicated in the box.

Your group is required to send only one checque to the given address, and made payable to Festival of Praise Fellowship – GLS.

I want to register as a group. Do I need to fill in every group member’s particulars?

Yes, you need to fill in every individual’s particulars even though you are registering

Why is there a need to assign a group leader when we register as a group?

A group leader should be assigned on behalf of the whole group, so that GLS Singapore will be able to send the confirmation letter and other information to the assigned group leader. Do remember to submit every single member’s registration form together in a group.

Is reserved seating available in the Auditorium?

Reserved seating is not allowed at our summit.

What is the dress code for the Summit?

Summit attire is casual.

What’s so unique about the Global Leadership Summit (GLS) from other leadership conferences?

The GLS is not just about leadership. It’s really about the local church. Bill Hybels’ vision and burden is building the prevailing churches all across the world. He believes strong leadership is the key to building up strong churches. Hence he started the Leadership Summit 10 years ago.

What’s the difference between the Leadership Summit held live in Willow Creek and the Global Leadership Summit held in Singapore?

The only difference is that the latter is a delayed videocast. Though I have been attending Leadership Summit held in Willow Creek many times, I have always been watching on the big screen anyway. However there’s a HUGE difference in financial savings! If you were to attend the Leadership Summit in US you have to pay about US$400 for registration, besides there are air-ticket, car rental and accommodation expenses!

Why do I have to attend the GLS if I could get a Leadership Summit DVD edition?

The DVD edition is different from the local Summit in that it contains only the messages while the local Summit is exactly the same as the Leadership Summit held in Willow Creek Community Church, which has live worship, creative elements and fellowship with leaders from other churches over breaks and meals that precede and follow the messages. There is also the added element of process/response time after messages.
